As pastors, educators and church leaders we are called to the sacred trust of serving and nurturing others. It can be challenging to maintain this focus in a culture that celebrates the absence of limits and boundaries. Lines and values can become blurred and trust destroyed. “Healthy Boundaries” training is for both those new to, and experienced in, church ministry. Healthy Boundaries 101 & 201 is a two-part training program including 101 Fundamentals and 201 Beyond Basics.
Trained facilitators guide discussions on the challenges of power and vulnerability, internet technology, social media, finance, attraction, and self-care in ways that are relevant and encourage dialogue among colleagues. Healthy Boundaries training is offered twice annually in both the Triangle and an eastern location. Facilitators are trained by the Faith Trust Institute.
