Children and Worship

By Medora Hix
Children and Worship is a cooperative ministry of the Reformed Church in America (RCA), the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRC), and The Presbyterian Church in Canada (PCC).
More Details

Children and Worship is a faith formation worship centered approach with storytelling, ritual, and fellowship that is used with children in churches to help them deepen their relationship with God. Worship materials include wooden figures and backdrops, felt underlays, laminated figures, and other accessories. Beginning with the opening phrases, “The Lord be with you,” and the response by the children, “And also with you,” children are engaged in God’s Word and Spirit as a careful and spiritual atmosphere is present and celebrated. A time of wonder and a time of creative response is always included. Training for Leaders/storytellers and Greeters is necessary and important.
